To enhance our learning about the Romans, Year 4 visited Butser Ancient Farm which is an open-air experimental archaeology museum and active research centre where the children learnt about the past by recreating it.  They experienced staying in a Roman villa, they spun wool, made Roman jewellery and explored Roman artefacts.
