For the 2017-18 financial year the school will receive £22,440 to support disadvantaged pupils. This money will be spent on a variety of initiatives to give these pupils the best possible chance to make good progress. The money will support 1:1 and group intervention teaching, after school activities, school visits including residential trips and to ensure that Teaching Assistants are on hand in every class in the school.
Disadvantaged children are monitored carefully through regular pupil progress meetings (with input from the Family Support Adviser) and support is put in place where appropriate.
Outcomes for pupils are monitored by the Governing body. Since becoming an academy within the Greenshaw Learning Trust (GLT) in January 2018, our Pupil Premium Strategy will be reviewed in-line with our September - August financial year. A report will be published on the website each September.
