Chris Salt
Community Governor

I was appointed as a Community Governor at Wildmoor Heath School in November 2011 and was elected to the role of Vice Chair in November 2012.

As Vice Chair, I work closely with the Chair of Governors and deputise at meetings or other events should he be unable to attend. I also work closely with all Governors to contribute towards important decisions that affect our school, its staff and our children and their families.

I have worked in education for some 30 years, as a teacher of Design and Technology and ICT and also as a LA schools adviser. I am currently teaching part time at Edgbarrow School and am currently undertaking an interim role for Bracknell Forest as a Schools Advisory Officer.

I have two children, who were educated locally in Yateley, with the youngest just about to complete her third year at university. During their schooling, I always took an active interest in their respective schools, offering time and support and participating in many parent events.

As a Governor, I am committed to providing the best educational opportunities for all children at Wildmoor Heath School.
