Carole Blunden-Lee
Community Governor

I  am married with two grown up sons. I am passionate about all matters related to teaching and service to others. I am a 'people person and believe strongly in helping children/teenagers to work to their full potential. My belief is that everyone can achieve something and should not be limited by lack of imagination or fear.

I have been a teacher and Head of Academic Support of Wellington College since 1990. I am a member of the Camberley National Women's Register. My other interests include reading, travelling, playing bridge, entertaining and being cooked for and generally living life to the full . I have recently began updating my golf skills after a 25 year gap! I am part of the Golfing Academy at Camberley Heath Golf club where my husband is CEO[ no pressure!} .A very frustrating game, but worthwhile?

I am currently Chair of the Governors’ School Improvement Committee. I have recently been  appointed as Director to the Carwarden House Community School in Camberley which is a school for  pupils from 11 to 19 with moderate learning difficulties.  Special Needs provision is my area of expertise, so I am also very excited about being part of  that school as well.
